Two people were killed Saturday night in a head-on collision in Florence County.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 10:20 p.m. om Howe Springs Road. One person was driving a sedan when he crossed the center line hitting an oncoming SUV.
The driver, who died on scene, is identified as Christian Jamaal Cain, 26 years old, of Gastonia, N.C. The passenger of the other vehicle died later at a local hospital and is identified as Timothy Green, 89 years old, of Florence
This crash remains under investigation.
