Two children were taken to the hospital after being hit by a car in Florence, according to Lt. Robert Drulis of the Florence Police Department.
Lt. Drulis says the incident happened on Third Loop Road in Florence, Friday evening. The driver of the car suffered a medical emergency causing him to cross over the center line and hit the two children.
The children are 15 and 16 years old and suffered non-life threatening injuries. They are still recovering at the hospital.
The driver was also taken to the hospital, no word on the driver’s condition.
The case is still under investigation.
