DILLON, SC (WBTW) – The coroner has identified a person who died in a weekend crash on I-95 in Dillon.
Zariah Rankin, 19, of Fayetteville, NC, died in the crash, according to the Dillon County Coroner.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol it happened at 11:20 p.m. on I-95 at the 187 mile marker. That is about four miles north of Dillon.
Three vehicles were involved. Officials say two other people were taken to the hospital. We don’t have their condition at this time.
According to Dillon Co. Coroner Donnie Grimsley, Rankin’s 2-year-old child was hurt in the crash and was taken to MUSC in Charleston. The condition of the child is unknown.
