18-wheeler fire impacts traffic on US-52 Friday night

An 18-wheeler fire is impacting traffic on a portion of US-52 Friday night, according to the Howe Springs Fire Department.

The department says firefighters responded to the area just south of McCall Farms, and when they arrived, found the cab of the truck engulfed in flames. Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the fire.

The Howe Springs Fire Department says US-52 North, just south of McCall Farms, will be reduced to one lane of traffic while they remain on scene.
