HARTSVILLE AREA, SC (WBTW) – One person has died after a crash in the Hartsville area.
The crash happened at 8:05 a.m. Friday near the intersection of W. Billy Farrow Hwy. and North Center Road, about four miles outside of Hartsville, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. One vehicle was involved in the crash.
The car was traveling eastbound on W. Billy Farrow Hwy. and ran off the road to the right, SCHP said. The car then struck a ditch and overturned several times. The person was ejected from the vehicle. The driver was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt. The driver was transported to Carolina Pines Hospital, where they died from their injuries.
