FLORENCE, S.C. (WBTW) – The Pee Dee Heart Walk raised over 180 thousand dollars Saturday during the annual walk.

Many survivors wore their red baseball cap with pride as they walked to promote healthy lifestyles free of heart disease or stroke.

Robert Heneriex, a heart disease survivor said this was his 11th heart walk and he looks forward to many more!

Heneriex said, “It means a lot to still be alive. I thank the lord that I’m still here. To be able to get around as good as I’m getting around. It’s truly a blessing.”

Our very own Patsy Kelly was the emcee. This is her 3rd heart awareness event this year.
