DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW )- The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office says that the Lamar teenager who was reported missing, along with her boyfriend, was found safe in New York Monday afternoon.
After asking for the public’s help in locating 17-year-old Lindsay Cait King who is from the Lamar area of Darlington County, Sheriff Byrd reports King and her boyfriend were located in Buffalo, New York Monday afternoon. Both are safe.CLICK HERE for more photos
Police described King as 5’10” weighing approximately 110 lbs. She has short blonde hair and hazel eyes. Before being located in New York, King was last seen at her address in Lamar at 2:00 pm on July 18.
King was with her boyfriend Travis Edwards who was described as a 17-year-old white male weighing approximately 125 lbs. standing around 5’10”.
Edwards was also reported as a missing juvenile in Florence county.
The pair was traveling in a white 2005 Chevrolet 3500 pickup bearing tag #P340869.
Sheriff Byrd adds Buffalo Police Department located the teens, but could not give an exact location other than to say in Buffalo. He says the teens are not in any legal trouble and both are safe. Parents of the teens are in touch with the Buffalo Police Department to make arrangement to get the two home, according to Sheriff Byrd.
