FLORENCE (WBTW) – West Florence Fire Department responded to a crash on 2nd loop road near the Wal-Mart gas station after a vehicle hit a pedestrian.
The Florence City Police Department, South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Florence County EMS also responded to the scene.
Crews said the pedestrian was treated by West Florence firefighters and paramedics before being taken to the hospital.
There is no word on the extent of those injuries.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
