FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – A vehicle struck and killed a woman Wednesday in Florence County.
South Carolina Highway Patrol Cpl. Sonny Collins says it happened around 6:15pm on US 52 near Coward, not far from the Factory Road intersection.
Collins says a driver headed south on 52, struck a person, identified by the Florence County coroner as 81-year-old Sabrina Hernandez, in the roadway.
Collins says no charges are expected against the driver.
