PAWLEYS ISLAND, SC – The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is on Saturday, April 30 from 10 am to 1 pm. Pawleys Island Compounding Pharmacy, the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public its 11th opportunity in six years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your 3P’s –pills, powder, and pouches for disposal to Pawleys Island Compounding Pharmacy at 9710 Ocean Hwy, Unit 2, Pawleys Island. Liquids, needles or sharps will not be accepted. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
