HARTSVILLE, S.C. (WBTW) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in Hartsville on Saturday morning.
Officials say the crash happened around 3:00 am on North Center Road near Hwy 15 in Hartsville.
Darlington County Coroner J Todd Hardee identifies the victim as Phillip Randall Chisholm, 34, of Hartsville. Officials say he died when the vehicle he was a passenger in collided with a ditch and he was ejected from the vehicle.
Coroner Hardee pronounced Chisholm dead at the scene.
The SCHP is assisting the Coroner’s office with the investigation.
