MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Two people wanted for murder in North Carolina were arrested in Horry County Monday morning.

Detectives with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office say the body of 33-year-old Amanda Kay Smith was found Friday on the side of the road in Salisbury, NC.

Her suspected killers, Timothy Clarence Smith Jr. and Stephani Dawn Hall, will be charged with robbery, first degree murder and second degree arson. Investigators say Timothy Smith and Hall set fire to the victim’s home Friday.

Both suspects are being held in Horry County until they can be returned to North Carolina to faces the charges. Timothy Smith and Stephani Hall are booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center on one count each of possession of a stolen vehicle. No bail has been set for either suspect.
