Overturned vehicle blocking Highway 17 bridge in North Myrtle Beach

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH (WBTW) – Authorities are asking drivers to avoid the area of the High Rise Bridge on Highway 17 in North Myrtle Beach.

Police report an overturned vehicle on the southbound side is blocking both lanes.

Only one lane is open on the northbound side.

Police reported the incident at about 1:45 p.m.
