Over-turned truck carrying pork products on I-95 causes traffic issues for commuters

FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – An over-turned 18-wheeler caused some major traffic issues Friday morning in Florence County.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol’s website, the crash happened around 4 a.m. on I-95 southbound near the 152 mile marker.

The website indicated at least one person was injured in the crash.

The truck appeared to be carrying a load of Smithfield Farmland pork products.

Traffic in the area was reduced to one lane and motorists were told to expect delays for several hours as they clean up the scene.
