CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – According to outage maps from Santee Cooper, more than 6,700 people in the Conway area were without power Tuesday.
Horry County Public Information Officer Lisa Bourcier says the outage impacted polling locations, but those locations had paper ballots.
Officials have not yet released which precincts were affected by the power issues.
As of 4:20 p.m., Santee Cooper Maps showed less than five people without power.
