FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – The organizers of the Taste of Florence have made the decision to postpone the event originally scheduled for Oct. 18 to Jan. 19.
“The reality is that October has become an increasingly busy month for our restaurants and sponsors with catering, the holidays and competing festivals and festivities. Many who want to participate are just overly committed. The Taste of Florence Planning Committee made the decision to move it in hopes that January would be a better time for everyone involved. It is traditionally a slower month for most so hopefully all will welcome the change,” Co-Chair Jennifer Hoover said in a press release.
Event officials hope that people will still be able to “Savor Thursday’s Flavor” on Jan. 19th.
All admission tickets, dated for Oct. 18th, will be honored on Jan. 19th, organizers say.
