LATTA, SC (WBTW) – The Latta Police Department has arrested one person in connection to a reported weekend motel assault.
Latta Police Chief Derrick Cartwright says officers were called to the Henry Motor Lodge on North Richardson Street around 9 a.m. Saturday. When officers arrived, they found a 53-year-old man with severe injuries.
The man was taken to the hospital. Officials have not commented on his condition.
Cartwright says while an arrest was made in the case, investigators are not releasing any additional information because it remains an active case.
