MARION, SC (WBTW) – One person was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Marion County.
Corporal Sonny Collins with the Highway Patrol says it happened around 8:30 P.M. Thursday night on Highway 41-A.
Collins says the driver of a Toyota pickup was traveling south, then went left of center and side-swiped a Saturn sedan before continuing on the other side of the road until it crashed head-on into a third car.
Collins adds the driver of the third car was not wearing a seatbelt and was killed.
He says the truck driver also wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and went to the hospital.
Collins adds charges are pending.
