FLORENCE, S.C.- One person is dead after a golf cart collided with a tractor-trailer on Stagecoach Road Monday.
Lance Corporal Matt Southern said the crash happened at 4:45 p.m. when the golf cart tried to turn left in front of a tractor-trailer.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured, but the driver of the golf cart died on the scene.
Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken identified the golf cart driver as 83-year-old Jimmy Halley Bacot of Stagecoach Road.
