GREEN SEA, SC (WBTW) – Horry County Fire Rescue (HCFR) and the Loris Fire Department responded to a fire in the Green Sea area that sent one person to the hospital early Thursday morning.
HCFR tweeted at 2:49 a.m. that firefighters said flames were inside a single wide mobile on Kizzy Lane. That road is less than 1,000 feet southeast of Green Sea Floyds High School and Middle School.
Ten minutes alter HCFR tweeted the responding firefighters reported a fire on the stove, which they had put out. One person in the home was treated for injuries and was being taken to a local hospital, according to the tweet.
There were no other details about the seriousness of the person’s injuries.
