One person was injured in a shooting Tuesday night in Florence, according to the Florence Police Department.
Lt. Mike Brandt tells News13 that officers were dispatched to a shooting into a dwelling in the 100 block of West Liberty Street just before 7 p.m. The incident happened near Mt. Sinai Holiness Church.
Officers located one victim with injuries and that person was taken to the hospital by EMS.
The incident is still under investigation and no further information is available at this time, according to police.
It’s unclear if any arrests have been made or what led to this incident.
