One injured in Florence house shooting, juvenile arrested

FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Florence Police officers are investigating an early morning shooting that left one person injured.

According to a press release, officers were called the 400 block of Noble Street around 3 a.m. Monday for a reported shooting.

Once on the scene, officers found a house with several gunshot rounds fired into it as well as an injured adult inside.  The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

According to Lt. Mike Brandt, the Florence Police High Risk Search Team arrested a juvenile suspect inside a home on Barringer Street around 4 p.m. .  The suspect is being charged with attempted murder and will be transported to the SC Department of Juvenile Justice for detention.  This case is still under investigation and additional charges are likely, Brandt said.
