One person has died following a shooting Saturday morning at a nightclub outside of Bennettsville.
According to Marlboro County Coroner Tim Brown, one person died after being shot at a nightclub on Highway 38 near the North Carolina state line. That person was taken to a hospital in North Carolina where they later died.
The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office, SLED, and the Richmond County Medical Examiner are investigating the case.
