(WBTW) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is reporting a fatal accident in Williamsburg County, at Sims Reach Road, near US-521.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol CAD, the accident occurred around 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
The victim was driving a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle in the southbound lane of Sims Reach Road when they ran off the road, overturned, and struck a guardrail, authorities say.
The victim was wearing a helmet, and sustained fatal injuries on the scene.
The Williamsburg County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the identity of the victim.
