HORRY COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – Horry County Police responded to Bucksport Sportsman’s Club at 2:53 a.m. Sunday morning in response to a shooting with multiple victims.
Lt. Raul Denis says two men were shot at the Sportsclub, located at 915 Bucksport Rd., and officers were able to take the alleged shooting into custody. When officers arrived, they discovered one man at the scene was suffering from a gunshot wound and a second shooting victim was at the Horry County Fire Rescue Bucksport Fire Station, adds Lt. Denis.
Witnesses helped identify the shooter, who was quickly taken into custody, Lt. Denis confirms. Both victims are expected to recover from their injuries.
Francoisx Endrique Shepard, 25, of Conway, is being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center, charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of felon in possession of a firearm.
