CONWAY (WBTW) – Ole Miss defeated Coastal Carolina 8-2 on Saturday afternoon at Springs Brooks Stadium. The Chants have now dropped three games in a row.
Tate Blackman had three hits and three RBIs to lead Ole Miss. The Rebels took advantage of two early CCU errors to take a 3-0 lead in the top of the first.
Tyler Poole took the loss for Coastal. He pitched 5.1 innings and only allowed four hits but walked four that led to six runs – three earned. The senior struck out five.
Coastal is back in action tomorrow at Springs Brooks Stadium. The Chants host Ball State at 3 p.m.
