HAMILTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The teen who is accused in the shooting at Madison Jr/Sr High School Monday was in juvenile court Tuesday.
News13’s sister station in Ohio, 2 NEWS, was in court as James Austin Hancock was led into the room with ankle chains. Hancock kept his head down most of the time and did not speak at all during the proceedings.
The teen’s attorney entered a “denial of charge” plea for Hancock, and the next court date has been set for April 5 in front of Judge Craft.
Hancock is being held in the Butler Couty Juvenile Justice Center on charges of attempted murder. The 14-year old is facing charges of attempted murder, felonious assault, inducing panic and with making terroristic threats.READ MORE: Suspect in school shooting identified, charges released
Hancock is accused of shooting two students and injuring two others during lunch time at the school.
