MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Myrtle Beach police are on scene of a reported bank robbery on North Kings Highway Tuesday morning.
Captain Joey Crosby says officers were called to First Citizens Bank, located at 7500 North Kings Highway, around 9:12 a.m. Tuesday. Officers say a robber entered the bank, showed a weapon and demanded money from the employees.

The description given of the bank robber from police is a black man, about 6′ 5″ with a medium build, wearing dark pants, a gray hooded sweatshirt and tan work boots. The robber was last seen running from the bank on foot, but officers did not give a direction the man was headed.
No one was injured during the robbery.
