SHALLOTTE, N.C.- Police were called to an armed robbery Thursday night at a Big Lots on Main Street in Shallotte.
Officers say that store employees were walking to their cars at the end of the day when two armed suspects forced them back into the building and to the area of the store’s safe.
The suspects took the money and fled the scene. No one was injured in the incident.
Shallotte Police are working to identify the pair and are also seeking more information on a white passenger van they say is a “vehicle of interest” in the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to call (910) 754-6008.
