MYRTLE BEACH (WBTW) – Socastee High School graduate and New York Times Bestselling author Kiera Cass will sign books at special events both at her alma mater and at a local book store on Thursday, May 7.
According to school officials, Cass will sign copies of The Heir that the school library will sell next week, and students who purchase books will also get to participate in a Q&A session with her on Thursday.
Later that night, Cass will sign books at Barnes and Noble at The Market Common. Interested customers can also obtain a voucher so that a portion of the proceeds from their purchase will benefit Socastee High School.
The Heir is the fourth book of Cass’ bestselling The Selection series, which recently became optioned for a screenplay.
Cass is a 1999 graduate of Socastee High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in history from Radford University, and now lives in Virginia with her family.
