LUMBERTON, NC (WBTW) – The National Weather Service in Wilmington confirmed the Saturday evening storm that ripped through Robeson County did produce a tornado that left damage behind.CLICK HERE for images from the damaged area.
The tornado was listed as an EF-1 and had winds reaching 90 mph.
The NWS said the tornado left a path of destruction about 100 yards wide for more than 2 miles.
Pictures of damage east of Lumberton shows several trees down as well as roof damage to some buildings.
