NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – North Myrtle Beach police are looking for a suspect accused of driving a stolen truck.
On Sept. 4, officers were called to 707 South Ocean Boulevard for a stolen 2014 white Ford F-450 that was parked in a parking lot.
Surveillance video captured a man entering the truck and driving on Ocean Boulevard around 4:11 a.m. Around 6:30 a.m., officers from an outside jurisdiction stopped the car on Highway 701 and obtained photos of the suspect.
Pat Dowling with North Myrtle Beach says the driver of the stolen truck possibly gave the officers a false name and date of birth.
