NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – North Myrtle Beach police are asking for help finding a suspect wanted for grand larceny vehicle and financial transaction card theft.

Officials say the man’s name is William Charles Mishoe.  On Sept. 3, Mishoe was accused of stealing a 2014 Ford F-150 while the car was parked in a lot on South Ocean Boulevard. The press release from North Myrtle Beach spokesperson Pat Dowling says the car was unlocked at the time and contained the vehicle’s keys, the victim’s wallet, and a laptop computer.

Over the course of the investigation, Mishoe was observed on surveillance videos at two different gas stations in Horry County driving the stolen car and making fraudulent transactions with the victim’s credit cards.The suspect was identified by prior booking photos, and by his South Carolina driver’s license information, Dowling said.

The stolen car was recovered on Sept. 3, abandoned on Sandridge Road near Little River. When the vehicle was recovered, the victim also recovered his laptop and wallet.
