North Myrtle Beach police look for burglary suspects

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – North Myrtle Beach officers are asking for help from the public finding two men who could be involved in recent burglaries.

According to spokesperson Patrick Dowling with the City of North Myrtle Beach, the two suspects are allegedly tied to numerous burglaries at an oceanfront resort on Jan. 21.

Police reports from five different incidents all say the burglaries happened at the Avista Resort while the victims were not in their hotel rooms.

Victims reported electronics were stolen from bags in their rooms including tablets, a digital camera, a small computer, iPads and radios.  The reports also say that staff checked the key card reader on the door and discovered an employee key card was utilized to enter the rooms.
