NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – On Sunday, North Myrtle Beach police took a man into custody for criminal sexual conduct.
Reports say Kevin Michael Davis,36, was charged with third degree criminal sexual conduct and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The report from the North Myrtle Beach Police Department says officers received a complaint from the victim Sunday afternoon about an incident that happened in August 2015. The victim told police she and a friend were at a home where there was a man in his mid 30’s. At first, the man began giving the victim closed beers, but as time went on, Davis was giving her open containers.
The victim told police she remembered leaving the property on a golf cart, entering the suspect’s home and him shutting and locking the door behind her. The report says the suspect sexually assaulted the victim before returning to the house the group was at previously.
Officers were able to locate the suspect’s personal information and arrested Davis Sunday and took him to jail without incident.
Booking records from J Reuben Long say his bail was set at $10,000 and he was released Monday at 11:39 p.m.
