COLUMBIA, SC (WSPA/WBTW) — Authorities in South Carolina say the shooting at a mall in Columbia was an isolated incident involving three men.
Update: Altercation b/w 3 males. 2 reportedly fired shots before leaving the mall. Believe all 3 left in same area. No reports of injuries.

Columbia police have set up staging units outside the mall to continue taking information from witnesses and to help unite family members who were separated when evacuating the shopping center.
Officers are evacuating areas inside the mall. Talking to possible witnesses/ gathering information. Assistance from police partners.

Columbia police say there were reports of shots fired but there have been no reports of injuries. Law enforcement evacuated the mall and spoke to several witnesses. They say the shooting took place just before 7pm Saturday night.
Police controlling access in/out of mall. If folks are inside mall, they should shelter in place. Officers escorting people to safety.

No arrests have been made, but police report they will review surveillance video. Officers are currently working with dispatch and witnesses to corroborate descriptions of the three men.
