COLUMBIA, SC (WSPA/WBTW) — Authorities in South Carolina say the shooting at a mall in Columbia was an isolated incident involving three men.

Columbia police have set up staging units outside the mall to continue taking information from witnesses and to help unite family members who were separated when evacuating the shopping center.

Columbia police say there were reports of shots fired but there have been no reports of injuries. Law enforcement evacuated the mall and spoke to several witnesses. They say the shooting took place just before 7pm Saturday night.

Police add there was an altercation between three men, and two of the men reportedly fired shots before leaving the mall. Officers say the three men left in the same area.

No arrests have been made, but police report they will review surveillance video. Officers are currently working with dispatch and witnesses to corroborate descriptions of the three men.
