NORTH MYRTLE BEACH (WBTW) – North Myrtle Beach Public Safety personnel responded to Avista Resort for a report of a bomb threat Saturday night.

North Myrtle Beach City Spokesperson Pat Dowling said someone called in a bomb threat to the North Myrtle Beach Public Safety Dispatch around 9 p.m., Saturday.

North Myrtle Beach and Horry County officers responded to Avista Resort on 300 N Ocean Blvd.  Dowling confirms no evidence of a bomb was found after explosive detention dogs swept the area.
