NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Police continue to search for a suspect 3 years after an Horry County woman was found dead near a North Myrtle Beach bridge.
Amber Berbiglia, 23, of Little River was found dead May 3, 2013 near a bridge at the Robert Edge Parkway.
Berbiglia was a student at Horry Georgetown Technical College and had planned to get married later in the month.
Police at first said Berbiglia was shot in the face, but officials then said she died from blunt force trauma.
The Horry County Major Crimes Unit is continuing to work on identifying a suspect in the case.
CrimeStoppers of the Lowcountry is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest in the case.
