NICHOLS, SC (WBTW) The Nichols Police Department said they have arrested a man in connection with a robbery at the First Citizens Bank.
Chief MW Lewis says with help the help of the public, Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Columbus County Sheriff’s Office they were able to identify and arrest Jimmy Keith Russell, 38 of Fair Bluff, NC.
Russell is charged with entering bank, depository or building and loan association with the intent to steal. He is being held at the Columbus County Detention Center awaiting extradition to South Carolina.
Chief Lewis thanked the public for their support and information that led to the arrest.
The robbery took place on May 23 at 4:05 p.m.
