MYRTLE BEACH- High school football season is just around the corner, and on Monday News13 hosted a Blitz Media Day at the Myrtle Beach Pelicans Ballpark.
Coaches and players from close to 40 teams made the trip to TicketReturn.com Field. News13 Sports Director Conan Gasque, Weekend Sports Anchor Kelsey Riggs, and Weekend Anchor Matt Gittins spoke to teams about some of the biggest storylines this preseason.
Dillon quarterback Avery McCall, the 2014 Blitz Player of the Year threw out the first pitch at Pelicans Ballpark.
High school football practice begins on July 31st. News13 will begin airing team previews twice a day starting on August 1st.
