It’s New Year’s Eve. You may be wondering where to go or what to do as you ring in 2019. This is a list of parties and activities happening December 31, 2018.
Myrtle Beach:
Some restaurants and bars at Broadway at the Beach are hosting New Year’s Eve parties.
If you are looking for an early New Year’s Eve celebration, Liberty Brewery & Grill is having a New Year’s Eve Three Course Dinner Special. It runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. It’s only $26.96 per person, and includes salad, an entree, and a dessert. You can find out more about the menu here.
You can rock on and celebrate the new year at Hard Rock Cafe. That celebration starts at 10 p.m. and ends at 2 a.m., and includes live entertainment, a balloon drop, party favors, and more.
Margaritaville is hosting a tropical style new year’s eve bash. The party starts at 9 p.m., and features live music, party favors and more.
Celebrations Nightlife is hosting three huge New Year’s Eve parties at the Malibu’s Surf Bar, Oz, and Broadway Louie’s locations. The party starts at 7 p.m. There will be balloon drops, confetti cannons, a midnight toast, party favors, and other special effects and surprises. Tickets now cost $35 and are limited. Broadway at the Beach will also be hosting a fireworks show at 8 p.m.
The Market Common will be hosting a Southern Times Square event. That starts at 7 p.m. in Valor Park and will be tons of family-friendly fun.
If you want to get outdoors for your celebration, Brookgreen Gardens is hosting a New Year’s Eve Stroll Under the Lights. It runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday. Tickets are $15 for member and $20 for nonmembers. Light refreshments will be available for purchase.
Strong Waters Craft Cocktails & Kitchen is hosting a Roaring Gatsby New Year’s Party. That starts at 6 p.m. Monday night and ends at 1 p.m. You can find more information about the event here.
Riptydz is hosting their Second Annual New Year’s Bash, from 8:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. You can buy your tickets here. Prices range from $39.99 to $89.99. There will be a live DJ on the rooftop, live music on the patio, fire breathers, dancers, free virtual reality games, a photo booth, and a buffet. Walk-ins are welcome, but online presale tickets are encouraged. Drink packages are also available.
Banditos Cantina’s New Year’s Eve Party begins at 8 p.m. Located on Ocean Boulevard, the party on the beach includes a full bar, dinner buffet, party favors, and a champagne toast. R2DJ will provide the soundtrack as you kiss 2018 good-bye. Tickets can be found here. Tickets cost $25 for ladies, $50 for gentlemen.
Tin Roof Myrtle Beach is hosting a Prohibition: New Year’s Eve Bash. The event features live music by Cardfall and a DJ in the Green Room. You can your tickets here. Packages include a Speakeasy Entry, 18th Amendment VIP Experience, The Capone, , The Luciano, The Bootlegger for 2-, 4-, or 6- people, and The Sidecar. Prices range from $5 to $100.
Conway:
CWs Conway , located on Rivertown Boulevard, is hosting a New Year’s Eve party. Come as you are! There will be games, dancing, champagne party favors, and the ball drop at midnight. DJ Arattic will also be playing from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Florence:
Local Motive Brewing’s New Year’s Eve party starts at 9 p.m. and will end at last call at 2 a.m. That party takes place at the brewery on North Dargan Street. DJ Voodoo will be providing the tunes to dance into the new year.
The LOFT on North Dargan Street is hosting a Platinum and Black New Year’s Eve Celebration. The party begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 2 a.m. There will be drink specials all night and special additions to the menu. Music will be provided by DJ Gee Unit. Call (843) 206-7355 to reserve your table.
New Year’s Eve 2019 at Jazz on Dargan starts at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $55 per person, or $100 per couple, and include two cocktails, one menu selection, party favors, and a champagne toast. $20 regular admission with no designated seating is available.
The Wholly Smokin’ New Year’s Eve Bash starts at 6 p.m. with dinner by reservation. Then the restaurant turns into a dance floor at 10 p.m. and features Sideswiped. There are also favors and a champagne toast at midnight. If you want to dance, but not eat, cover will be $10. Call (843) 407-7545 for reservations.
Red Bone Alley’s Annual New Year’s Eve Party runs from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Red Bone Alley on West Palmetto Street. This year’s event is Hollywood themed, so you are invited to come dressed as your favorite celebrity. There will be costume contests, trivia games, prizes, and drink specials. Admission is free.
Seminar Brewing on West Lucas Street is hosting a New Year’s Celebration at 9 p.m. tonight. There will be a live DJ and drink specials. You can find more information here.
For the kids:
Ripley’s Aquarium is hosting a New Year’s Eve Sleepover! It’s for children ages 6 to 14. The event starts at 8 p.m. It will include a glow party, crafts, pizza, and a midnight toast. Children then get to sleep with sharks double or triple their size swimming over their heads. Breakfast will also be provided. Tickets cost $69.99 per child; no parents are allowed. The whole family can celebrate with Family New Year Bowling at the Myrtle Beach Bowl. That begins at 9:30p.m. and ends at 12:30 a.m. It includes a lane for five people, all you can bowl, shoes, one large pizza, a pitcher of soda, and a $5 arcade game card. You can find tickets here.
