New research reveals brain changes and memory problems among people who smoked a lot of marijuana as teenagers. Researchers from Northwest Medicine studied a group of people in their early twenties who were heavy pot users when they were younger. Clinical trials
The results of most clinical trials are not being reported when they are supposed to be. Federal law requires results are reported within one year of completion. But according to Duke researchers only about 13 percent of trial results met the one year requirement.

Alzheimer’s disease
UCLA researchers are closer to developing a blood test to diagnose Alzheimer
‘s
disease. Scientists came up with a test that could predict the presence of proteins in the brain that are typical with the disease. Researchers say they still need to refine their test to make it more accurate.
