MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.— Allegiant this week celebrates the start of new, nonstop seasonal flights to Myrtle Beach. The company, known for its exceptional travel deals, is offering one-way fares as low as $39.

“Allegiant is very excited to launch these additional new flights to Myrtle Beach, making the destination even more accessible,” said Jude Bricker, Allegiant Travel Company senior vice president of planning. “We are confident that the addition of our low-cost, convenient service will bring even more visitors and economic growth to the area.”

The new routes will expand on the seasonal service Allegiant currently operates to Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR). Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.

“Allegiant’s continued growth at the Myrtle Beach International Airport is fantastic for passengers looking for easy and affordable air transportation to and from the Grand Strand,” said Pat Apone, director of Horry County Department of Airports. “The Department of Airports strives to keep costs affordable for all of its airline partners, thus it was an attractive market to Allegiant when it decided to introduce additional capacity into our marketplace for the 2015 season.”

“With Allegiant’s expansion and the addition of five new nonstop markets, Myrtle Beach area residents and businesses have even more low-fare choices and flight options from which to choose,” stated Brad Dean, president and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.

”The launch of nonstop flight service from five new cities speaks to the continuing success of our partnership with Allegiant and the strength of the Myrtle Beach market,” said Bill Golden, president of Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday.

Allegiant’s innovative business model has allowed it to grow from one plane and one route to offering access to low-cost flights in over 100 cities nationwide, more than any other domestic low-cost carrier. Allegiant passengers can enjoy unique savings by bundling their air, hotel, car and even activity and attraction reservations together for less.
