MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Neighbors got to know neighbors Saturday at an open house event at Crabtree Memorial Gymnasium.
The event let 42 local vendors from the Market Common area meet and greet local people from the area to showcase food, health care, clothing shops and more.
Organizers say it was a great to way to introduce people to businesses in a growing area in Myrtle Beach.
“I thought it would be a great opportunity to get these guys together to get to know each other from a business perspective but also a community perspective,” said Greg Moody, the recreational leader at Crabtree Memorial Gymnasium.
It was the first neighbor to neighbor event at Crabtree Memorial Gymnasium and organizers say they hope to grow the event to include even more businesses next year.
