NC woman raped after she’s attacked on street and shoved into car

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.  — A woman walking along a street was attacked and shoved into a car and then taken to an abandoned home where she was “senselessly beaten and raped” on Monday night, Fayetteville police said.

The incident happened around 9:20 p.m. in the Bonnie Doone subdivision near Bragg Boulevard, police said in an email.

“The investigation revealed that the victim was walking along a street adjacent to Bragg Boulevard in Bonnie Doone, when a white sedan pulled up near her location,” police said.

“A black male and black female exited the vehicle and struck the female victim over the head with an unknown weapon. The suspects then carried the victim to the white sedan and a third suspect drove them to an abandoned home in Bonnie Doone,” police said.

Once at the home, a man raped the woman while other suspects assaulted her, according to police.

The victim was then put back in a vehicle and driven to an area where she was the suspect then dumped “her out in Bonnie Doone after she had been senselessly beaten and raped,” police said.

The woman was able to get home and immediately called 911, police said.The suspects were described this way by police:

The suspects were operating a white 4-door Chevrolet sedan, possibly a Cruze, with stuffed animals displayed on the rear dash.
