CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTW) – A North Carolina woman got a surprise this weekend went she went to the kitchen.
Laura Neff said she found a black snake dangling from her kitchen cabinet Sunday with its head on top of an egg basket on the counter.
Neff posted a video of the encounter on social media that shows what appears to be a 4-foot-long snake trying to swallow an egg whole.
Neff said that the snake got inside the home through a hole in the floor in the laundry room.
The snake was allowed to finish eating the egg and then was removed from the kitchen unharmed, Neff said.
