RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) – Gov. Pat McCrory is ordering all North Carolina state flags to fly at half-staff in honor of the Marines and the Navy officer killed last week in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

State flags at all state facilities are flying at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Monday. Authorities are investigating the Tennessee slayings as an act of domestic terrorism.

McCrory said in a statement on Sunday that all of North Carolina is heartbroken over the deaths and is praying for the victims, their families and the safety of all U.S. military personnel around the world.
