RALEIGH, NC (WNCN) — A registered sex offender is facing charges after police say he used a social media site that allows minors.
According to an arrest warrant, Elaton Omar White, 23, also maintained a website on the social media site, both of which are in violation of the sex offender law.
White has an extensive criminal history that dates back to 2010 and includes statutory rape and sexual exploitation of a minor charges.
He’s also been arrested for crimes such as assault, battery and robbery.
White is currently in the Wake County jail on $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday afternoon.
