LORIS, SC (WBTW) – The Columbus County Police Department has a murder suspect in custody in connection to a shooting in Loris, according to an Horry County Police Department Facebook Post.
Horry County police have found Quotase Jenrette, 20, of Clarendon, NC. Jenrette was wanted in connection to a deadly shooting in Loris off Barts Road on Jan. 6.
Police say the victim was shot and taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Horry County Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick, says Kendal Ray, 27, of Loris, died at Grand Strand Medical Center the next day from a gunshot wound to the head.
