FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.  – A Fayetteville dad is facing charges after allegedly burning and trying to strangle his teen daughter after an argument about makeup, warrants show.

The girl’s mother reported the vacuum cleaner incident back on Feb. 17, according to warrants. A magistrate issued a criminal summons in that incident.

The mother told police that Green left the home and then returned and held a pistol against the girl’s head for approximately two minutes.
